Breakfast in Bed!!!!!

This morning we woke up and turned on the Cooking channel (yes! Justin loves the cooking channel) while the kids were all playing downstairs. The kids came up and said they wanted to make us breakfast in bed, since we were watching food we decided that was a perfect idea, the kids love to cook for us and everyone else and they are really good at it. So while we were laying there we started smelling and hearing things we were a little nervous but we just let them do what they were doing (we really didn't want to get up anyway). We heard them walking up the stairs and they were so excited, there was two plates with blue waffles with rasberry syrup , strawberries and whoppers (yes candy whoppers) with powered sugar on them and a banana and strawberry smoothie. I think we watch to much of the food network because they had a garnish which was lettuce on the side it looked really good, the kids were laughing cause Justin was eating everything which you were supposed to but he was eating the garnish to, Shelby said "Dad! your not supposed to eat the green we didn't even wash it!"
I think we might just stay in bed until lunch, they are preparing a menu.

In the last picture notice Kaden peeking through. Hunter and Shelby didn't want the little ones in the picture because they said they are the ones that made the breakfast, it was funny!

It is the end of SPRING BREAK!

We decided that we needed one more fun thing before the kids went back to school, since Justin doesn't work on Friday's and our Saturdays are basically all day Baseball and Soccer games we do our Saturday things on Friday. We decided to go to the Sand Dunes and ride four-wheelers and just play in the sand (the boys loved it) We packed a lunch and off we went. We had a blast in the sand except the wind was blowing and we ended with crunchy snacks and sand in every nook and crany.

Spring is trying to come

BASEBALL AND SOCCER SEASON STARTS!

Soccer has started, Shelby has had a few games, the team is struggling a little they have been bumped up to a higher division and they are trying to pull things together but I see a win soon. I love to watch Shelby play Soccer, she does very well. The games however are freezing cold to watch a I can't wait for a nice one.

Baseball starts saturday with Hunter and Kaden's playing all day on Saturday, they can't wait to play ball and I can't wait to watch. They both have wonderful teams and so we hope to have a good season. Saturday is supposed to be warm, we are crossing our fingers. Zack hasn't started playing yet he will be on a team with all of his friends that live around us, it should fun.

The Day the Zoo!

For our Spring Break we decided not to go anywhere far because we have already been to Arizona and St. George last month so we decided to try some fun things here were we live so we decided to go to the Zoo. We haven't been there for a long time, the kids were so excited to go even Hunter (as he is 13 and the Zoo is to young for him, so he says). The kids and I had so much fun looking at the animals and all the babies that were there. I wondered why this time was so much different then the other times we have been, maybe because I didn't have a stroller and I wasn't so worried about little ones taking off, we all stayed together and had a great time. It's about time we had such good weather!
