FINALLY!!! THE ICE CREAM MAN!!!!!!

We have never had the ice cream man come to Highland until today, WOW!! He was down the street and I wasn't sure if he was going to come up this far so I didn't want to take any chances so I loaded the boys and chased him down, he now knows not to leave us out.

Backyard Fun!!!!

We decided to have a picnic in the back yard and roast hot dogs and do smores. I know it is not the mountains but it will have to do, it was great! (Yes I was cold!)

The kids decided to do some cheerleader jumps!!!!

Zack's soccer camp and swim lessons.

I thought it was time for Zack to do a couple of things so my friend's daughter had a fundraiser and had a soccer camp for kids, he went with a few of his friends, he had a blast and he felt so good about himself.

He also took swim lessons and now he thinks he is pro. He swims like a fish.

STEEL DAYS!

We love Steel Days every year and try to go each year, this year was a little different, Justin drove Shelby and her clan around while Kaden was holding up the Lone Peak flag in front of the truck they were in so it was just Zack and I watching the parade along with Josh, Natalie and Ella and Kelly and Megan and of course My mom and Justin's mom we had a blast catching as many things as we could, and then after the parade we go get Parkers and go to my mom's house to play in the water, then watch fireworks. Kaden and Zack didn't make it through the fireworks they fell alsleep right when they started I tried waking them but they were to exhausted from the busy day. As I remember of all the fireworks I have gone to I think that not one of my kids have made it through them, they love to sleep I guess and not like waiting so much.

THE SUMMER!!!!!!!

We decided to go visit my sister Chris's family while Justin and Hunter was on High Adventure, we always love visiting them because we are really out in the middle of nowhere and nothing to do other than playing having a good time and so we did......

All the kids ended up catchin a fish. Zack caught a fish but he fell asleep when we were taking pictures but his actually was the biggest of all of them.

My brother-in-law took them fishing while Chris and I stayed home and did only what we wanted to do, only Chris knows what we did "What happens in Koosharem stays in Koosharem" huh Chris, all I know is we will be famous one day! We also practiced using our new camera's here are some masterpieces we came up with.

Shelby and Melanie are best friends and they love to do anything together even make a Bakery in the mud they made lots of fun things brownies, cakes, cookies(yes all made of mud) and even covered themselves in MUD! For all of you that know me I usually don't let my kids play in the mud or touch varments but I guess sometimes you just got to let go.

Then they decide to ride Brittany's horse.

The kids had a funeral for one of the squirel's (yes a real live squirrel that died in the night named Monday) next door. The kids buried the varment and had a little service, doesn't the girls look sad!
Thanks Franks family we had a blast!!! We love you!!!!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!!!

These pictures were Saturday after they got home from golfing, I did everything to wake him up and couldn't.

Yesterday was the fourth of July, Oh what a buzy time of year but on the other hand We love it. We have had a wonderful week and nothing to show for it except the picture of how everybody is feeling. To start out My brother John and his family is in town and Justin's family is in town also. Monday John's family hiked timp (something I have never done and want to bad) and they took Hunter and Zack, Kaden was at day-camp and I had to wait for him to come home but they had a good time, Zack walked the whole way buy himself. Tuesday my parents took Shelby and Kaden to this is the Place state park they had a great time!! Kaden didn't want to come home. Zack and I couldn't go because he had a birthday party that I already told him he could go to and I had a Dr. Apt. Wednesday Shelby and I went shopping with the Parduhn's and that is always fun, then ran down to my familys ate dinner and played "ticket to ride." Thursday and friday were the baseball games for Kaden in Heber city and baseball is always fun. So the fourth Hunter went to Lagoon with the Parduhn family while the others went up to the baseball games and that night Shelby and I had a blast at the Stadium of Fire with MILEY CYRUS, Shelby was in heaven and we walked and walked and walked. Then Saturday morning was the morning golf game at 5:00a.m., Justin went and took Hunter, my brother John and his brother Troy and as always golf is were its at for them and now the kids are off to play in the water. So by the look of the schedule for the week we are all pretty exhausted and Hunter's picture says it all.. Its always hard when both families are here all at once we don't see family very often and when they come we always want and try to do everything , even the family that lives here asked us to go swimming with his family we sure want to do it all, it takes a tole on the kids but when it is all said and done it is summer and they can sleep for two days if they want thats the way they like it just get as much as they can and ten sleep.

Zack's Determination

On Saturday we were all outside roofing and shingling and Zack wanted to mow the lawn, I keep saying "Zack, we are not going to do it right now." I didn't really want him to do it but he was so persistence, so I thought this would be the best time because I am right here to watch him, so I let him. He worked and worked I think the best part for him was being able to crank it up and turn it on because I kept hearing it shut of and start back up again and I would look over there and he was smiling so what the heck he was having fun, but he finished the whole lawn he wouldn't give up until he had it all done. WAY TO GO ZACK!

The Construction Zone!!!!!!!

We are in total construction zone it is either the road in front of our house or our roof that we replaced, there are nails and shingle's everywhere and dirt, I am about sick of the road. We have to park far away from my house and walk everytime we need to go anywhere and for me that is around 101 times in one day. All though I shouldn't complain, because it is really what my body needs, I told the city between the walking and the 100 degree wheather that we have to do it in, one of the stipulations to having construction in front of my house is that I better lose at least 20-30 pounds or there is going to be some serious consequences.

PARADE TIME!!!!!

Last friday night was Shelby's first parade it was the lehi round-up she was so excited to get all made up and march down the parade, at first she was a little nervous to do cheers in front of everybody so when we saw her (we were at the very first of the parade) she and her friends were just walking down the street by the time we picked them up they wouldn't stop cheering.

GO KNIGHTS!!!!!
